"Moments"
The wall pieces are made of 18 g., 110 electrical grade aluminum. This is a very pure alloy with great color and workability. The surface of each piece is brushed for texture and colored with several layers of acrylic ink wash to achieve a fabric-like quality. I hand fold or lightly bend the aluminum sheet into the final shape. I call these wall pieces “Moments” in reference to Baroque ideal of capturing a “moment in time”. I like to think of them as being caught in the act of floating through space.
These are one of a kind piece with similarities. I am currently working with several different sizes and colors and will have them photographed as soon as they are completed.
